I don’t know about most of my clients; however, I tend to put my wallet in my right rear pocket and never in the left. While driving, instead of placing my hands on the steering wheel at the typical 10 o’clock and 2 o’clock position, I place only my right hand at the 11 o’clock position. What do you do?
Also, think about how we sleep every night. Most people spend approximately 1/3 of their day sleeping. Do we sleep with our spines aligned? What position do you sleep in?
Do we exercise good posture at the dinner table, at our desk or even while taking a walk?
Every hour, day after day, week after week, and so forth, our body, a machine that was created to work in perfect harmony, begins to break down because we get lazy. Just like any machine that is not maintained, it will begin to break down.
We need to break this habit, and keep our bodies well-maintained as we would keep any machine, in order to live long, healthy lives.
In part two we will discuss how doing small things in our lives can have detrimental effects on our bodies.
